June 23, 2004THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER have officially confirmed the departure of drummer Cory Grady from the group's ranks. "Cory Grady has been asked to leave the band due to personal and professional conflicts," THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER singer Trevor Strnad writes on the band's web site. "Cory has been in the band since its inception, and it was not an easy decision on our part. In the good news, we are honored to welcome Zach Gibson [ex-GUTROT, MUTILATED] to the throne, and can assure you that you will be seeing us on our summer tour with the mighty CANNIBAL CORPSE. We will spend four weeks as direct support for CANNIBAL, with SEVERED SAVIOR opening; following will be a two-week headlining stint with CATTLE DECAPITATION and GOATWHORE, respectively."
